🛂 Travel and Student Visa Requirements

To study in Malaysia, you need to apply for a student visa, which is a necessary step before traveling. Here are the key requirements and procedures:

📄 Required Documents for Student Visa Application

1. A passport-sized photo

• A photo with a white background (35 mm × 45 mm)

2. Copy of Passport:
You will be required to submit a copy of your passport. Here’s what we specifically need:
a. The personal information page of the passport (the one with your photo, name, and basic details).
b. All pages that contain visa information. We don’t need the entire passport — only the pages with visas or stamps. Blank pages are not required.

Note: Students coming from the countries listed below are required to submit a copy of all passport pages when applying for the Student Pass via EMGS:

- Libya
- Iran
- Iraq
- Somalia
- Sudan
- Syria
- Yemen

c. The observation page (containing any extensions, name clarifications, or previous passport numbers).
d. The passport must be valid for at least 18 months.

Note: For One-off Student Pass applications, it is recommended that the passport validity is at least 12 months longer than the duration of study.
For example: If the study duration is 36 months, the recommended passport validity is 48 months.

3. Offer Letter:
You must submit a copy of your offer letter to apply for a student visa in Malaysia.
If you are applying online, you will not be able to fill out the form or submit your application until you have received the offer letter from the university or college where you have been accepted.

4. Health Declaration Form:
You will need to fill out and submit a copy of the Health Declaration Form as part of your student visa application in Malaysia.
If applying online, you must upload a scanned copy of the form.

5. Academic Certificate:
You must submit your high school certificate or the most recent academic certificate you have obtained (such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma), depending on the level of study you intend to apply for in Malaysia.
